Both Arnos Grove and Oakwood stations are the worst stations as during early mornings peak hours and evenings Piccadilly line trains terminate short at Arnos Grove and Oakwood rather than at Cockfosters. Tfl should make all Eastbound Piccadilly line trains terminate at Cockfosters as as customers for Cockfosters Station do not have to get off a terminating train at Arnos Grove and Oakwood and wait on the platform for Piccadilly line trains to Cockfosters Station. If you were going to Cockfosters Station the end of the Piccadilly line you can stay on 1 train and do not have to change at Arnos Grove or Oakwood fo
It is in a quaint town of the borough of Enfield. When I was there they there was a part suspension of the Piccadilly line, which passes through Arnos Grove. It is a quiant area, however, it desperately needs to be cleaned. There are hardly any people in that area, and I believe that they mostly work during the day.
An underground tube station that is not truly an underground station anyway.. Picadilly line and their "hold on, we've got a red signal" is as best as delays can be...If your first way of moving around is the train or tube trains and local bus lines, I would not recommend living in this part of North London, just because, this zone is somehow neglected when it comes to trains/Picadilly.On the good end though, there are buses in a quite good , train/tube-buses interchange, which is applausable.
Station car park is convenient. A major bus station with dozens of buses in various directions are ideal. Station cleanliness has room for improvement
The best train AND bus station ever! its very close to broomfield school which is great for students using the transport to get home, there is a shop within the station making snacks more available, sure the trains are a bit late, but would you rather use a train and it would be a little late, or walk another mile to use one that is quicker?
