Friendly staff,good facilities and a good view but 25 for league 1 football? Come off it!
Al old style ground tarted up over the years but needs some more attention. The catering offering was very poor with only one small outlet for 4000 visiting supporters.
Car park for away supporters is a joke. Been sat here for over 40 minutes and haven't moved yet. Happy to grab your fiver on way in
Attitude by security to away supporters is appalling. My son was travelling back from working in London to watch a game. Due to traffic he got their just before half time but was refused entry even though he had a pre-paid ticket. Even trying to explain the circumstances to the 'in ground' security manager was a complete waste of time. A letter requesting a policy explanation to the club and eventually to the chairman was also a waste of my time. Not on my favourites list
Love coming here. Best football ground in the world ;-) Catering does leave a lot to be desired, as do the West Stand bogs! Proper tarmac car park on stadium grounds, but can be a nightmare to get out of. Lots of other car parks in Barnsley town centre, though, and that's only a 5-10 min walk away - as is the train station.
