I like this library but sometimes is very noisy. Bum, bum the roaring music from the speakers at the first floor, drives me crazy! A lot of activities should be organised at the leisure centre.

The older Indian woman is not nice at all. She comes into the library and bossing around picking on anything to complain about. The homeless are always visiting and they should not be allowed in the library instead they should have their own gathering place/somewhere separatelyThey stink like hell gosh..... I always want to throw up. Hope there would be a change in this respect. Thank you

Sadly this library seems to be going down hill, seems to be used more for social gatherings than a tranquil place to read and browse. Adult section is only filed by author and no longer by genre , harder to find a new author in the genre you enjoy reading. Study area upstairs where you cannot talk but okay to chat away on your phone. Having used this library occasionally over the last 15 years its obvious cuts in budget have had a serious affect. However I have always found the staff help and friendly.

More spacious than green Street library. It can however get quite noisy and is used by homeless people to sit during the day (not being disrespectful here, but I think the council should help these people so that they do not need to use the library as a shelter at daytime).

Staff are quite rude in their mannerism, no smile or warm hello, it feels like a corporate business place at times. Using the toilet is always an issue. Adult women can only use the one upstairs and you have to get permission from the staff on that floor to open the door for you which is a hassle and then, it's always either in use or in a dirty condition. In comparison to Forest Gate library, Stratford library is sterile, isn't very accommodating and is lacking a community feel. Staff members should be fired and replaced with nice people who smile and greet you warmly.
