As other users have said, the refurbishment/rebranding has been a massive disappointment. I go to the gym mainly for classes - with Soho Gym, classes I went to were held in a separate building. There was plenty of space for everyone and a quiet atmosphere (great for yoga and pilates). Now, with PureGym, classes are held in a tiny space in the gym building, with no walls or doors to separate the class room from the main gym space - so it's hard to focus on the class as you can hear all the noises and the music from the gym - to the point where it's hard to hear the instructor's voice! The space is TINY and they try to fit as many people as possible in the class, so it's well easy to end up with other's people feet in your face. You can also imagine such tiny space to get dirty very quickly - mats were NOT clean.Changing rooms are basically non existent, there are just a handful of lockers and only three showers - not sure what they had in mind when they planned this. When I went to the new gym the first time, staff was too busy to show me around - so I had to wonder around, trying to figure out where things were myself. Overall it all feels really cheap and badly planned. I'll be cancelling my membership soon. Such a shame - I really enjoyed Soho gym, even though it was a bit outdated!

I just went to gym for the first time and left after 5 minutes walking around, feeling lost. The 3 people of staff were so busy, they didnt even look at me. I needed to interrupt one in a conversation with a member to ask where the changing rooms were, explaining that this was my first time there. She explained it to me but there was no attempt for further help. After finding the changing rooms I was trying again to make contact with someone who could instruct me but was being absolutely ignored again. So I left and Im not sure if I will go back. Im very disappointed.

Pretty disappointed with the reopening and will not be returning. The layout of the space has not been very well thought out at all and the free weights area feels incredibly crammed in. They have somehow made the whole gym feel smaller despite extending the space upstairs. This also means that the changing rooms have been made unisex, with only a handful of lockers and three showers between everyone so really not great if you need to be out quickly. You will also likely have to queue if you want to use a particular type of machine and lot of equipment wasn't even working. A big shame as seems a bit of a waste of a great space.

After waiting for so long for this gym to open, I went for the first time yesterday and was really disappointed in the shower/changing room situation. Firstly I had to do two laps of the whole gym before I even found the changing room, then when I finally did find it I found a tiny unisex area with one small bench and only a handful of lockers. There are two changing areas (for one person each), two toilets and then three shower rooms. That's three showers for both men and women in the entirety of the gym. After finishing my class of course all three rooms were in use and I had to wait 10 minutes before getting in the shower, which is a really long time when you need to get to work on time. (And I imagine at busier times it will be worse). Then when finally in the shower it was clear someone had shaved in there that morning which was very unpleasant, and the shower was also so low down that I had to bend down to wet the top of my head.I really don't understand the logic with these showers. Having separate shower rooms in a unisex area means people will obviously get undressed and re-dressed in the shower room meaning they occupy the shower room for longer. For the rest of the month I'm going to have to run home after the gym to shower even though it's the opposite way to work, and then I will decide if I want to keep my membership or not. I realise that PureGym is one of the least-extortionately priced gyms in London, but if I pay any sum to attend a gym I expect to be able to access a shower after a workout and have a changing room area that doesn't feel cramped when only four people are in there.

I waited for this gym to open for quite a while and it disappointed me on the first day I went there.Firstly, the changing room is in the farthest corner of the gym - you have to go across the gym with your bag and jacket (I suppose when it's raining people are just walking with wet shoes across the floor?). Then you reach the changing room (not rooms). Just one squeezed changing room with very limited amount of locks for everyone and it has these booths if you actually want to change and not just drop your stuff off (really weird, but ok). I understand that the space is very limited, but I felt like there were many bad decisions made using that space. Very small dumbbells area, everything is pretty close to each other and quite a lot of space given to things like long swinging rope (I was just wondering if that is really necessary when the space is so small - but that is my subjective opinion). Another thing that I found weird is that there were already a couple machines that were not working (on the second day of opening?)Finally - showers. There were no space to put your personal belongings while in the shower apart from toilet seat. No shower shelf for shower gel, etc. I am quite tall 193cm, but not only the shower head was too low, the ceiling was too low as well. And finally the shower itself was pretty disgusting (hair and dust on shower floor). This was at 9:35 AM in the morning on the second day the gym is open.To sum up, this is not the gym I am desperate to come back to if things do not change.
